The new Callisto release with many new exciting features!
Here it is: the latest Callisto release 1.86 with many new features! They are:
  • Voicemail as option (all Callisto systems)
Put the new Callisto base system together according to your customers' requirements. Previously a fixed element, Callisto's voicemail service is now an option. This gives the client full flexibility when combining Callisto features for their customers. The price list impact can be checked on the Callisto partner portal or via our contact service.
  • Monitor buttons (Callisto Express)
No need for a specialist when setting up a new monitor buttons key on your Cisco® phone: via the Callisto Express web interface, the menu item "Phone" enables users to setup their monitor buttons individually. Monitor buttons show the matching users' call presence state.
  • Speed dial buttons (Callisto Express)
Similar to setting up monitor buttons, Callisto Express users can setup speed dial buttons themselves. This function can also be accessed through the Callisto Express web interface, menu item "Phone". Speed dial buttons enable numbers to be dialled directly with a single button push on a Cisco® phone.
  • Single Number Reach from UCME/UC520 software version 7.1 (Callisto Express)
The new "Single Number Reach" feature of UCME/UC520 (available since software release 7.1) can be easily set by users through the Callisto Express web interface. The feature can be found under the menu item "Phone". When a second number is assigned to an existing number, the second number, usually a cell phone, also signals an incoming call after a defined time period (timeout 1) in parallel to the existing number, usually the fixed phone on the desk. If none of the phones is answered, ringing stops after a predefined time (timeout 2) and the UCME/UC520 system forwards that call to a third number, usually the voicemail.
  • Access rights to Cisco Services (Callisto UCM, Callisto Express)
One of Callisto's unique selling points is the possibility of creating and adding individual applications. These individual applications can, if desired, be made accessible or be configured according to requirements through an interface hosted by Callisto's web interface. To give application access to authorized persons only, a new per-user access right definition within Callisto's administrator interface is available.
  • User downloads (all Callisto systems)
The administrator now has a download area for Callisto-related software on Callisto. As a new feature, files can now be uploaded and assigned to one or more languages. These will appear automatically to all users or language groups in the download area.
  • SIP version release information at "System" / "Callisto License" and Telnet (all Callisto systems)
As an extension to Callisto information and as an aid for technical personnel, the new Callisto release 1.86 provides the current Callisto SIP release version number at "System", "Callisto License" or via Telnet.

For the past few years we have made all Callisto updates and upgrades available for free. In order to continue to supply excellent software, these can now be downloaded for a small annual fee. Please find the relevant details in the currently valid Service Level Agreement (SLA) and in our partner price lists (accessible only for Callisto partners).
